The Miami Heat vs. the San Antonio Spurs battle it out on the court at the A&T Center in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, March 31 at 7:0 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Easter Sunday basketball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Heat are ranked 1st in the Eastern Conference and currently hold the no 1 spot in the 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season (out of 30 teams) with 57 wins and only 15 losses. According to ESPN sports columnist Marc Stein, "The committee (of one) cannot tell a lie. We certainly adhere to the no-cheering-in-the-press-box rule ... but we also wouldn't mind seeing the Heat stretch this thing to 29 in a row. Because then we'd be dispatched to cover their shot at No. 30 in a row in San Antonio on Easter Sunday live."
Miami was defeated by the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday (March 27), ending their historical winning record streak. The record is still currently held by the 1971-1972 LA Lakers with 33 straight wins.
The Spurs are ranked no 1 in the Western Conference and currently hold the no 3 spot in the 2012-2013 NBA regular season this week (out of 30 teams) with 55 wins and only 17 losses. As Stein points out, "Since I know you want to be fully updated on all streaks, we can confirm that the Spurs still need 14 more home wins in a row over poor Golden State to tie the NBA record. The Dubs have lost their past 29 visits to the Alamo City, but the Kings went 0-for-43 on the road against the Lakers from 1975 through 1992."
Tonight's game should prove a fierce battle between two of the NBA's BEST teams.
