Selena Gomez released a teaser for her first single off of her upcoming album, "Come and Get It." The former Wizards of Waverly Place and current Spring Breakers star is doing her best to get fans excited via a new snippet of music.  Check it out below:

Selena is going to debut the single April 8 on On Air with Ryan Seacrest before hitting digital retailers the next day. Gomez's first live performance of the track will come shortly thereafter at the Radio Disney awards in Los Angeles April 27.

Gomez has been steadily building buzz for her new album which she describes as full of "really fun, pop songs and a little Ellie Goulding-ish, a little island-y feel."

I made a huge fun dance record that I'm so proud of," she said.

Last month she released the cover art for the single via her official Facebook page (above).

Selena herself is "super stoked" for the album claiming that she hopes it will "take it to the next level."

"This is the hardest I've ever worked on any album I've ever done," Gomez said." I recorded about 23 songs, and I picked 11.

"So we put all the album together, and I really wanted it to be a different level for me," she said. "So I think for the performance, I'm going to try to do things that nobody's ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I'll do a good job."

What do you think? Has this teaser piqued your interest for "Come and Get It"? Will you be listening when it premieres April 8? Are you ready for Selena Gomez's new album to be out yet?
