Former supermodel Stephanie Seymour's son Peter Brant Jr. was arrested for allegedly assaulting a cop inside of JFK's Airport.
According to E! News, Seymour and billionaire Peter Brant's son was arrested on Wednesday after one officer was injured. Authorities claimed that the 22-year-old model was waiting to get on a flight at John F. Kennedy airport traveling to West Beach, Fla. to meet his father when he was stopped by officials for "using obscene language and making unreasonable noise."
As officers tried to speak with Brant he started to act "unruly and uncooperative." When the cops tried to place Brant under arrest he started swinging his arms and refusing the cuffs.
One cop ended up getting hurt when they tried to restrain Brant. Both Brant and the unidentified officer were taken to the Jamaica Hospital. When Brant was released from the hospital he was then transferred to Queens Central Booking and charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
This isn't the first time Brant has had some troubles with the law. Back in 2014, he was caught with possession of weed in Brooklyn, and in 2011 his mother called the cops on him during a domestic dispute.
Brant's lawyer Philip Russell released a statement on the 22-year-old's arrest, saying: "I think it's fair to say that this incident is something one would expect when spring break hijinks collide with the heightened security in the wake of the Brussels tragedy."
Earlier this year, Brant's mother was arrested for a DUI in Greenwich, Connecticut. During that time, Seymour refused to take a field sobriety test. An officer claimed that the 47-year-old reeked of alcohol and was unable to stand on her feet.© 2019 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
