Post Malone swears he and Justin Bieber were just "rough housing" when he grabbed the singer’s throat in a Houston nightclub on Saturday night, April 9. Now he has responded to the viral photo that appears to show that he choked the "Sorry" hitmaker.

The "choking" photos went viral, with WorldStarHipHop suggesting that the 20-year-old rapper was mad at Bieber for putting a cigarette out on Malone's arm.

Taking to Twitter after the shots created a stir on social media with countless hilarious memes popping up, he denied there was any beef between them.

In a series of tweets, the singer continued: "He's my big brother and we like to rough house. If we was fighting someone would have done something instead of just sit around while the Biebs gets chokeslammed."

“They are cool,” a source close to Bieber told HollywoodLife. “Justin was clearly messing with [Post] all night, trying to mess him up during the performance, clowning him through the night. Post got sick of it. [He] turned around and grabbed his neck and told him to f**k off.”

The source added that, "Justin apologized and they went through the night with no other incidents."

A photo of Post Malone choking Justin Bieber has been posted on the Instagram page of theshaderoominc. The snap was seemingly taken at a Post Malone performance at club Che in Houston, according to VladTV.

A TMZ video shows Malone performing his “White Iverson” song and Bieber apparently putting his lit cigarette on Malone’s arm.
