HBO continues with Season 6 of Game of Thrones. In the aftermath of Jon Snow (Kit Harington)'s death, Twitter had lots to say about Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)'s surprising scheme and that Hordor (Kristian Nairn) twist .

In our previous recap, Olenna Tyrell realized she needs the help of Jamie and Cersei Lannister before Margery (Natalie Dormer) makes her walk of shame. Just when he was about to leave the Night's Watch, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) found himself reunited with Sansa Stark. Just when it seemed Osha was seducing Ramsay, he stabbed her in the neck before she could strike him down. Daenerys took down the Dothraki leadership and burnt them all to a crisp. Daenerys didn't need saving as rose from the flames alive and unscathed, with everyone kneeling down before her.

In our recent recap, Sansa Stark confronted Little Finger (Aidan Gillen) about Ramsay violating her. Not only did she manipulate him, Sansa began giving out orders, lying to Jon, and seeking allies in her war to take back her home. In his vision quest, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) was discovered by the Night's King. As the white walkers stormed the caves, the Three-eyed Raven (Max von Sydow) and Hordor sacrificed their lives to save Bran.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wright explains Hordor's death, "We learned Hodor really is this vulnerable soul, who had such potential to live a happy life. First, through [Bran's] selfish actions, going to the White Walker vision in the first place, I've screwed him over. He didn't pick up that he should get out of the dream. And then Hodor sacrifices himself. He's been through all this and he's still having to do this."

Check out what Twitter had to say:

@BornWitaCharm quotes, "HOLD THE DOOR HOLD THE HOLD HORDOR #GameofThrones"

@stenzel5a tweets, "Hordor your final scene broke my heart, but yours was a loss of pureness that cannot be replaced, #GameofThrones delivers grief again!"

@TheGaMerOreo writes, "Man that was a heartbreaking #GameofThrones I always thought Hordor was a human Pokemon But he went out a hero #RIPHordor"

@zomg_its_rin can't even right now, "Although, #GameofThrones slayed as always. Left me in absolute slack-jawed disbelief/horror/awe."

@mlureche adds, "RIP Hordor. You were the real MVP. #GameofThrones"

@AshB73 states, "Hold the door! Love you Hordor/Willis. A hero through & through #GameofThrones"

Game of Thrones continues Sundays on HBO at 9pm.
