For those who are unaware, Kim Kardashian, also known as Mrs. West, became a victim of an armed robbery during her stay at an upscale hotel in Paris, France earlier this month.
The terrifying ordeal occurred on October 3 at her Paris hotel room. The 35 year old reality star was held at gunpoint, bound and gagged and then robbed of her belongings such as expensive jewelry including a ring given by Mr. Kanye West.
Here's what happened; while lying in her bed in a swank two story suite, Kim first heard heavy footsteps walking up the stairs. She then saw one of the robbers through a sliding glass door. Immediately she reached for the phone in an attempt to call security, but it was yanked out of her hands by the men and they began to tie her hands and ankles up with plastic handcuffs and duct tape.
Kim told the French police that she thought she was going to be raped, according to a report from TMZ.
With her ankles and hands duct taped together, she was carried to the bathtub where the robber put duct tape to secure her mouth from screaming and crying out loud.
Now, new surveillance footage of Kim Kardashian's alleged robbers have just been released by the local authorities showing what appears to be 5 men who were involved, three of which were riding motorcycles while two were seen walking.
According to an October 5 report from The Sun, the video footage came from a private camera located on the street by the "Hotel de Pourtales' apartment block. At approximately 2:19 a.m., the men were seen fleeing the scene with one of them, the bikers, carrying a bag allegedly containing Kardashian's precious jewelry.
The video was of poor quality and of course, the faces were blurry.
The Paris Police Prefecture commented, "We are not able to respond to your request because a judicial inquiry is opened only the Paris Prosecutor's office which can communicate to the press and the public and to not interfere with ongoing investigations."
Poor Kim! Hope she gets her jewels back.
