Aside from playing the iconic Luke Skywalker on the Star Wars franchise, Mark Hamill is known as one of the voices behind Batman's arch nemesis The Joker on the animated series and video games.
And for New Year's Day, The Joker had a surprise message for his fans when Hamill posted a sound byte of the villain wishing his enemies a happy new year, The Verge reports.
Apparently, Hamill's Joker stole the line from President-elect Donald Trump's tweet which read "Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do. Love!"

The president-elect's tweet has been closely watched by Americans and the world alike, because they're not the typical comments that come from somebody who has just been elected the leader of the free world.
After Trump psoted the tweet, comedy writer Matt Oswalt commented: "This sounds like something the Joker would say right before releasing a swarm of killer bees into Gotham."
Oswalt also suggested the creation of an application that would transform Trump's tweets into sound bytes read by the Joker.
According to the Rolling Stone, this prompted Hamill to grant his wish by posting a clip of the Joker delivering the very lines that Trump posted.
"As soon as I figure out how to tweet soundbites, I'd LOVE to. Nobody writes better super-villain dialogue than #Trumputin! #KremlinCandidate," Hamill, who was a staunch critic of the tycoon all throughout his presidential campaign, endorsed the idea.
This was not the first time Trump's tweets were subjected to voice overs from cartoon characters as voice actor Billy West, who voices Zapp Branigan from Futurama read a whole boatload of them and compiled them into a youtube video that has been viewed by over 117,000 users.© 2017 Mstars News, All rights reserved.
