Google launched its Pixel and Pixel CL smartphones in late 2016. Pixel and pixel XL were equipped with Android Nougat Operating System, 5 and 5.5 Amoled display, 12.3 MP rear and 8 MP front camera, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 and 128 GB storage and 2700 mAh and 3450 mAh battery. Initial price of Pixel was fixed at US$ 649. An attractive feature of Google Pixel is that it fully charges in only 15 minutes.

A Chinese news website Anzhou has now released images of new Google Pixel for 2017. Pixel 2 seems ultra slim, flat sided Android with corners. In the new Pixel, finger print sensor seems to be shifted to back while the software button is maintained. The original source has not mentioned any further details about the source images, date or release and any other specifications. Google Logo also seems to be shifted to back plate. Flash is set on the upper back plat above the fingerprint scanner.

Further information is expected in the next few days. It is expected that Pixel 2 will be launched in latter second half of the current year 2017. mobilenapps reported that a 5 inch, 2K, Day Dream, VR supported display will empower the graphics of Google Pixel 2.

Images suggest that new Pixel 2 might have headphone jack. USB and type C port is visible in the bottom. Volume button along with power button seem fixed at the right side of the phone. Earlier Google had identified a hardware issue in the sound system in first Pixel. Latest Qualcomm snapdragon 835 processor is going to be strong candidate for Pixel 2. A minimum speculated RAM for Google Pixel 2 is 6 GB LPDDR4 of above.

Pixel had some hardware issues. Designed and manufactured in a time frame of one year in collaboration with HTC, Pixel could hold in the market with a big name of Google behind. Pixel 2 is going to be a combination of Google's perfection and edging innovations.
