On Wednesday (May 1), TMZ reported that Lil Wayne was briefly hospitalized on Tuesday evening after experiencing yet another dangerous seizure. Following the news of Weezy's latest health scare, "Lil Wayne Dead 2013" started trending AGAIN on several popular social media outlets. Mstars is here to confirm that despite ongoing rumors that Lil Wayne's "on the verge of dying," such morbid death reports are a complete HOAX. After treatment, Weezy was released from the hospital early Wednesday morning and later sent out the tweet, "I'm fine. Thank U." Several fans of the "I Am Not a Human Being" rapper have since hit up Twitter to offer their heartfelt support and prayers.
Back in March, Lil Wayne was rushed to the ER after experiencing a severe episode of seizures. Rumors initially had it that Weezy fell into a medically-induced coma from drinking too much "sizzurp" and that he was on the verge of death. TMZ reported that he spent several days in the ICU at LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital. The way several gossip tabloids were reporting Weezy's deteriorating health condition made it seem like fans should offer their last prayers and goodbyes. "Lil Wayne Dead" and "Lil Wayne Death Scare" were hot trends that soon took the internet by storm. Several fans actually believed that Weezy had passed. Check it out:

Thankfully this time around, TMZ reports that the rapper experienced a single, minor seizure which only required one night's observation in the hospital. Considering the major backlash the popular gossip webloid received regarding its previous coverage, this "exclusive" report was kept quick and to-the-point.
It remains unclear whether Weezy's latest hospitalization was the result of another supposed "drug binge" or problems having to do with his epilepsy condition (read more on that here). Either way, the morbid death hoax gained momentum once again on the web this week. Thankfully, Lil Wayne appears to have recuperated quickly this time. Weezy let his fans know that he was okay on Twitter, and several responded back with loving (some rather hateful) tweets:
@LilTunechi: "I'm fine. Thank u."
@GeorgiaReloaded: "God bless."
@jaspmonster: "die already."
@_iLOVEMiNAJ: "LOVE WEEZY!"
@BloodDegrate: "BIT#H U NEED TO GET YO BIG A## OFF DAT SKATEBOARD PICK UP A PINT & A ZIP & GET IN DAT STUDIO."
