The long wait of fans for the “The Originals” Season 4 premiere is almost over. The new trailer for the next season reveals that there will be a time jump of five years from last season’s finale. A big shocker will also said to be unveiled and this will come in the form of the return of Camille (Leah Pipes), who was previously assumed to be dead.
The just released “The Originals” Season 4 trailer by TV Line mostly shows Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) attempts to reunite her family. She is seen able to find Elijah (Daniel Gillies) or what looked like his coffin with him sleeping inside it. Meanwhile, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is seen still in the clutches of Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and chained following his trial from the Season 3 finale.
From the trailer of the upcoming “The Originals” Season 4, it can be gathered that there is apparently a big power shift in New Orleans. Marcel appears to be the new lord of the city, replacing the incarcerated Klaus. Marcel is even taunting Klaus that the city he often says he built is now Marcel’s.
What gets the fans of “The Originals” Season 4 much excited though, is Camille’s return to the series. As Klaus is crying out in pain for her, she unexpectedly appears right behind him in his prison cell according to Buddy TV. Although she could just be Klaus’ hallucination brought on by his current state, avid viewers of the series remain hopeful that the character is really back in the show.
Until “The Originals” Season 4 premieres, it remains to be seen if Camille will remain a ghost or just a figment of Klaus’ imagination. She can also return in the flesh since characters dying and then coming back are commonplace in the series.
It will be exactly 10 months since the Season 3 finale of the show aired. But, from what can be seen from the trailer, big things have happened from then leading to the “The Originals” Season 4 premiere. It will air on March 17, Friday, on The CW.
