In the upcoming episode of “Chicago Fire” Season 5, Casey Severide (Taylor Kinney) has a big decision to make. It reportedly involves him making the big move to Springfield and saying good-bye to the Chicago firehouse.
“Chicago Fire” spoilers tease that the Severide could be getting a promotion that will necessitate the move. The job will also bring him nearer to Anna (Charlotte Sullivan), the woman Severide thinks he is falling in love with according to TV Fanatic. She is the one he previously donated his bone marrow to.
In the previous “Chicago Fire” episode, the firehouse team got called to help out in another dangerous situation. Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) was put in an unfortunate moment when he had to make a quick decision. Unfortunately, it ran counter to the previous orders from Chief Anderson (Michael Hanrahan).
According to the synopsis of the next “Chicago Fire” episode titled “Purgatory”, Anderson is livid when he finds out that his authority was undermined. He feels that this will damage his reputation when Boden insulted him in front of the others. As a result, he will be using his power to make life miserable for Boden and the rest of his team.
Cartermatt reports that Anderson will divide Boden’s team and reassign them to the other firehouses around Chicago. The PROMO for the new episode of “Chicago Fire” reveals that the firefighters are not happy with the order. In order for the team to be reunited, Boden might lead them to a mutiny.
Also in the previous episode of “Chicago Fire”, Severide and the team angered a would-be terrorist who then decided to go after the whole firehouse. He also turned out to possess some strange powers. The man simply disappeared from a burning building and right in front of Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) in a grocery store.
Boden wanted to shut down the firehouse to prevent the suspect from going after it in the “Chicago Fire” Season 5 episode. Christopher Herman (David Eigenberg), however, refused because it was probably what the suspect wanted to happen all along. The episode also featured Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), who is a “Chicago P.D.” regular character.
Will Severide decide to accept the job that will take him away from his friends? Find out in the next episode of “Chicago Fire” Season 5 airing on February 21, Tuesday, on NBC.© 2017 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
