An N'Sync reunion might not be happening soon. Former member Lance Bass teased that the phenomenal boy group will have a grand reunion, but the group denied it. What's for sure, though, is that N'Sync will release a vinyl edition of their "Home for Christmas" album, just in time for them to receive their Walk of Fame star this year.

Lance Bass talked to Entertainment Tonight about the much-awaited N'Sync reunion last Wednesday. He said that there would be a huge 20-year anniversary, but that he wasn't allowed to talk about the group's big project. "We're doing something special. I don't know if I can announce it yet," the 37-year-old actor said.

He went on to say that the group will also release a vinyl edition of their 1998 Christmas album, "Home for Christmas". Bass also confirmed that there will be an N'Sync reunion at the Hollywood Walk of Fame when the group receives their star this year. He said that all the members will be there, but that they couldn't agree on the date yet.

He also said that all five members, including Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick, are still close. Apparently, they still talk and rib each other about their time together as a group in the 90s. There have been some N'Sync reunions in the past, so the members were able to keep in touch.

In fact, they're waiting eagerly for "Britney Ever After", a biographical TV movie about Britney Spears' life. The group is excited to watch it because of Spears' past relationship with Timberlake. While the members seem to still be friends, Bass' hints about an N'Sync reunion might not be what fans really expect.

According to Billboard, after Bass' interview, the N'Sync Twitter account released an official statement denying an N'Sync reunion. Joey Fatone himself wrote, "Lance's comments to [the] press were taken out of context." He also said that there will be an official announcement if the group ever decides to do another reunion. There were no other details explaining whether the members will really appear together to receive the Walk of Fame star.
