While details remain scarce, plenty of speculations are being offered on what "Star Wars 8" plot could be. If rumors are to be believed, the upcoming "Star Wars: Season 8," officially titled "The Last Jedi" could be dealing with the origins of the Knights of Ren.

There are speculations currently doing their rounds on the net that "Star Wars 8" will be revealing something more of one of the more mysterious groups in the franchise. Apparently, there are fans convinced that the upcoming installment titled "The Last Jedi" will focus on the backstory of the Knights of Ren.

The Knights of Ren as a mysterious organization attuned to the dark side of The Force and was ruled by their Supreme Leader Snoke. They were introduced in "The Force Awakens" when Rey, who is super sensitive to The Force, experienced visions when she touched Luke's lightsaber. A new "Star Wars 8" spoiler surfaced claiming that "The Light Jedi" would finally reveal the murky beginnings of the dark organization, Express reported.

The new "Star Wars 8" theory was posted by Reddit user reverent_irrelevance. It disagrees with the common interpretation of Rey's vision shown in "The Force Awakens," which assumed that the Knights of Ren killed Luke's apprentice Padawans. According to the theory, the group is actually composed of former Padawans of Luke who reverted to the Dark Side and killed the others who did not, an event that may be tacked in the coming "The Last Jedi."

The theory sits nicely with the previously known "Star Wars 8" spoilers. It was revealed that "The Last Jedi" will feature an epic battle between the Knights of Ren which includes Kylo Ren agaist Daisy and Luke. If the theory is correct, it will be indeed one emotionally-charged fight as it pits their master against former students.

Meanwhile, Digital Spy explored a possible link between the Knights of Ren and another group known as the Acolytes of the Beyond. They are revealed to be Darth Vader follower who believed the return of their master once they managed to get his lightsaber. They are led by Yupe Tashu, the former imperial advisor. It is still unclear if the two groups will unite against Daisy and Luke in the coming "Star Wars: Episode 8."

"The Last Jedi" premiere is slated this coming December 15, 2017. Be sure to stay tuned to MStarsNews for the latest "Star Wars 8" news.
