Fans of the intense legal drama series will find themselves on another rollercoaster ride in "Suits" Season 7 after Season 6's epic finale. Mike Ross is finally a legitimate lawyer and will be working in the firm again. Harvey is set to be the new managing partner and Jessica Pearson will have own spin-off set in Chicago.
So many things happened in the last season that left fans asking for more. After six years as a fake lawyer, Mike (Parick J. Adams) was finally able to get a real license. He was also able to get back to Pearson Specter Litt and is looking forward to taking on pro-bono cases. Fans have always known that Mike's strong conscience and moral ethics will make him a dauntless lawyer at PSL in the upcoming "Suits" Season 7.
Meanwhile, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) realized that people didn't take her business ideas seriously because she was a secretary. Showrunner Aaron Korsh told Deadline that Donna will be wanting more out of her career and love life. Fans have long been waiting for the Darvey romance to happen and it seems like they will finally get a lot of it in "Suits" Season 7.
Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) is preparing for life as the firm's managing partner. Now that Jessica is gone, "Suits" Season 7 will explore how Harvey is like as the Big Boss. Although Harvey is the firm's best closer, he was not as level-headed or calm as Jessica. This is going to create some tension in PSL, especially after Louis Litt's (Rick Hoffman) failed relationship with Tara. No doubt these two lawyers will clash over firm issues again.
Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) made a surprise appearance in the Season 6 finale to help Mike. Fortunately, Torres will have her own spin-off set in Chicago. This is good news for "Suits" fans who still want to see Jessica in "Suits" Season 7. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Korsch teased that upcoming episodes could be set in Chicago, where the characters will meet up with Jessica and see her new life.
Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) is also a new lawyer and she has always looked up to Jessica. Now, Rachel will have to step up to her new role and learn to work together with her fiancé who will likely be taking Harvey's office. In the previous seasons, Mike worked as an associate while Rachel was a paralegal. Both are no longer greenhorns, so "Suits" Season 7 will explore a new dynamic in their professional and personal relationships.
