The development of "GTA 6" has been on the backburner for some time now. At the moment, Rockstar Games has its hands full in making the current "Grand Theft Auto 5" even better as well as in polishing the upcoming game "Red Dead Redemption 2."
To keep gamers busy and perhaps lessen the clamor for a "GTA 6" release at the moment, Rockstar just dumped tons of new content into "Grand Theft Auto 5." For instance, racing games enthusiasts may try out 15 new official stunt races, a cool way to earn more GTA$ and RP, Gamespot reported.
However, a "GTA 6" is definitely happening sooner or later - well probably later in this case since Rockstar is yet to release the "Red Dead Redemption 2" sometime this year. But gamers can relax a bit since the upcoming racing titled is already assured; the developer has already committed to developing a "Grand Theft Auto 6," according to Droid Report.
With the development of "Grand Theft Auto 6" already decided, gamers have only one important question left - when it will be launched. At the moment, the developer has not yet breathed a word on a possible "GTA 6" release date but speculations generally agree that the racing title will not be out before 2018 with 2019 being the more conservative estimate.
Fans are likewise expecting the upcoming "GTA 6" to introduce new features into the racing franchise. The upcoming installment needs to be cutting edge, so that it may compete head-on with rivals "GT Sport" and the "Forza Motorsport 7," which is rumored to arrive this year.
For instance, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is rumored to change location and go outside the U.S. with London's classic skyline and architecture being eyed as a possible setting for the upcoming racing title. In addition, Eve Mendes is speculation to make an entry into "GTA 6" as one of its characters.
