Motorola's Moto G series has been very popular in India and now Motorola has launched the Moto G5 Plus in the country. The phone brings premium features and exceptional build quality at an affordable price.
The Moto G5 Plus are available in India through Flipkart, which is one of the largest online retail stores in the country. Moto G5 Plus is priced at Rs.14,999 for the base model that comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The upgraded version comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The base model of Moto G5 comes with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM.
Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus share the same design and have a premium metal construction and this is the first time Motorola has used the metal body for Moto G series. These smartphones have curvy edges making them easier to hold. The camera at the back resembles that of the Moto Z, which is the flagship device from the company, reported Digit.
The specifications of Moto G5 and G5 Plus include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU for G5 while G5 Plus enjoys a Snapdragon 625 CPU. G5 has a smaller 5.0-inch display with a 1080p screen and G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch screen with the same resolution. Both smartphones have Gorilla Glass 3 protection for their displays as reported by GSMArena.
There are differences in the camera department too. Moto G5 Plus has a 12MP F/1.7 camera and G5 has a 13MP F/2.0 camera. The low-light performance of G5 Plus camera is exceptional as claimed by the company. In addition, Moto G5 has a 2800mAh battery while the G5 Plus sports a bigger 3,000mAh battery. However, G5 has a removable battery but G5 Plus has a fixed battery.
Moto G5 and G5 Plus have a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. Both the smartphones also feature TurboPower fast battery charging technology. The phones support gestures control on the fingerprint sensor.
