Nick Fury might be in "Avengers: Infinity War" if Samuel L. Jackson's recent interview is any indication about the character's return. The actor commented on speculations about his return to the franchise following a previous revelation that he is in "Avengers 3 and 4."
Jackson was doing press rounds for "Kong: Skull Island" when the subject about his appearance in "Avengers: Infinity War" came up. According to Collider, a reporter preemptively confirmed his return to the franchise, which surprised the actor. "You know that?! How do you know that and I don't know that?!" he said.
Jackson added that he has not heard from Marvel Studious about his return to the franchise. He also said that he has not been given a filming date. Suffice to say, the actor is unaware if he is in "Avengers: Infinity War" although he could just be playing coy. People by now know that actors involved with Marvel are under strict orders not to reveal details about their film unless otherwise told.
Likewise, Jackson once hinted at his return as Nick Fury in a previous interview. According to Comicbook, the actor had said that he reprises Nick Fury in "Avengers 3 and 4." At that time, Marvel had not yet confirmed that "Avengers: Infinity War" will be a two-part film. This means Jackson could either be in the first or second film.
The last time fans saw Nick Fury was in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Jackson did not reprise the character in "Captain America: Civil War." Speculations are rife that his absence in both films comes after S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Regardless, fans are still looking forward to Jackson's return as Nick Fury in "Avengers: Infinity War" given that the film is said to bring all characters together.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is expected to be the movie that unites all the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nick Fury is an important character who certainly deserves to return. After all, he is the man behind S.H.I.E.L.D.© 2017 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
