In "Dragon Ball Super" 83, Goku and the rest of the team will be hard-pressed in completing the required number of fighters to compete in the Tournament of Power. However, it will not be one gloomy chapter as Vegeta is set to welcome a new addition to his family.
In the released "Dragon Ball Super" 83 preview, Vegeta's wife Bulma, is seen finally giving birth to the couple's second child. This is confirmed by a ComicBook report which stated that the girl's name is Bulla. Bulla was actually introduced into the franchise in "Dragon Ball Z."
Of course, Vegeta will be elated with his newborn daughter. At the moment, fighting is probably the farthest thing in his mind. And this will cause problems with Goku in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 83.
In the coming "Dragon Ball Super" 83, Goku will do his best to convince Vegeta to join the Universe 7 team for the coming Tournament of Power. However, Vegeta will have none of it and tells Goku that he is not joining. This is, of course, understandable given the very recent birth of his child. An exasperated Goku will even ask Whis' help in convincing Vegeta to change his mind, though it remains to be seen what his final decision would be.
Meanwhile, another character is going to make his reentry into the storyline. According to GamesnAnime, Android 17 will be joining the Universe 7 team in its bid to win the Tournament of Power. However, he will not be seen in the coming "Dragon Ball Super" episode 83 yet.
Android 17 is a bit reclusive these days and it would take Goku a while to track him down. In fact, Android 17 will only be appearing in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 85 after Goku obtains information of his whereabouts from Dende.
Aside from Android 17, his twin sister Android 18 will be likewise joining the Universe 7 team. Furthermore, based on the released "Dragon Ball Super" 83 preview, Android 18's husband Krillin is seen training hard which hints that he too could be joining the team.
