"The Voice" competition is heating up and so is the heat between coaches slash lovers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton! The two judges were publicly displaying their affection towards each other in the show's entire two-hour premiere stretch.
"The Voice" is back for Season 12 and the swiveling red chairs are occupied by familiar faces - Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and the lovers Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. On top of the heated competition between talented artists, fans were also entertained by the nonstop PDA of the celebrity couple.
As coaches, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are set to battle each other for talents in the "The Voice" Season 12. But the season premiere proved that the romance between the celebrity couple is unstoppable. Gwen sat on Blake's lap several times on the show. Life and Style Mag says the couple also shared a hug or two.
When a contestant picked Blake Shelton, the singer thoughtfully asks his girlfriend if he was in trouble. But Gwen Stefani lovingly responded that she pick Blake too. AOL says the couple's sweetest moment so far in the show came when a contestant chose Alicia Key over Gwen. The sad Gwen headed to Blake for comfort, first settling in on his swivel chair before going in for a huge bear hug.
The affection made Judge Adam Levine cringe who in complete disbelief asked Blake Shelton who he was. Blake's best frenemy was poking fun at the celebrity couple's display of affection in the show's duration. The Maroon 5 lead who recently got his very own star in the hall of fame even butted in while a contestant was considering picking Gwen Stefani as a coach. Adam said Gwen was already taken, and she was in fact Blake's girl.
But the two also clashed a few times as they both wanted the same artists for their team. In one instance, Gwen Stefani even stood from her chair to stop Blake Shelton from giving his piece. And it worked! The contestant whose name was Stephanie chose Gwen. But in the end, Blake ended up joining in on a group hug.© 2017 Mstars News, All rights reserved.
