Ellen DeGeneres has reportedly been seen quarreling with her wife of almost nine years behind the set of "The Ellen Show." Apparently, the crew was able to witness one of the couple's heated arguments that further ignited speculations that their marriage is crumbling to pieces. It should be noted that the couple has been embroiled in a number of divorce rumors ever since they tied the knot in 2008.
An insider further revealed that the host of "The Ellen Show" hates people at work to know about her personal problems, Celebeat reported. The source further revealed that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been going to therapy to make their marriage work. On the contrary, Gossip Cop debunks rumors surrounding the divorce breakups noting that there is no truth behind them.
In the meantime, Ellen DeGeneres has been very vocal about her feelings for wife de Rossi in several interviews and has even gushed about her relationship her. As for now, the two are both busy handling their schedules in their respective projects. Ellen DeGeneres is busy with her talk show as well as her home collection while de Rossi is now venturing into a new business.
In other news, the couple is selling their Santa Barbara mansion for $58 million. The property is currently listed with Suzanne Perkins of the Sotheby's International Realty. Appropriately dubbed "The Villa," Ellen DeGeneres' home was designed in 1930 by architect Wallace Frost who spent time living in Italy.
Ellen DeGeneres has been known for buying and selling property and has now listed her 10,500 square foot estate filled with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, multiple libraries and nine fireplaces, Today reported. The home features terracotta surfaces and a barrel-tiled roof that sits on a 16.88-acre lot. The yard is also adorned with olive and eucalyptus trees, sculptures, statues, and fountains.
