Following her stint with Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello is ready to take on bigger challenges. This includes her recent decision to move to the United States from Cuba. She recently talked about her immigration and revealed that it wasn't an easy journey.

Speaking with Glamour, Camila Cabello explained that being away from her Dad was one of the hardest parts of moving. She first moved to Mexico then later proceeded to America with her mother. Being an immigrant also wasn't the biggest issue.

Camila Cabello revealed that another trial she had to conquer was being among the little dreamers. The former Fifth Harmony singer said she wants to be the image of a person who worked hard enough to get where she is no matter her race, religion, or language. It appears that the 20-year-old is now ready to take on the world.

PEOPLE notes that Camila Cabello is someone who continues to embrace her Cuban roots despite immigrating to the United States. In fact, she unleashed "Hey Ma," a Cuban-themed video that featured J Balvin and Pitbull. It remains to be seen if she has other Cuban-themed music up her sleeve in the coming months.

Meanwhile, fans continue to wonder if Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are an item. The rumors started after Mendes posted a throwback video of him and Cabello singing "Kiss Me." The Ed Sheeran cover has had fans clamoring for news about the pair's relationship status.

The truth is, it appears that Camila Cabello and Mendes are just friends. METRO reports that the "Mercy" singer has previously denied dating rumors. Mendes said that he and Cabello are just "really good friends." It could be heartbreaking news for some but it appears that it's the entire truth.

Camila Cabello is known for being a member of Fifth Harmony. She left the group late last year and has started her solo journey. It remains to be seen if she is open to reuniting with the girl band in the near future.
