With the advancement of technology running on fast speed, devices and software are being outdated really fast. Apple is seemingly on the move to remove support for 32-bit iPhone devices. The latest version of iOS is now throwing warning messages for the users that the app may slow down the iPhone devices. The only way to continually use the 32-bit apps is to purchase the compatible newer version of the app or switch to a newer phone.
The pop-up warning message will only appear if a 32-bit app is being opened, Gadgets360 reported. Apple has started to reject 32-bit apps after June 2015 and after that, all apps that are being developed are for 64-bit devices. There are still support for 32-bit apps but even some of the apps are being abandoned by the developers. With Apple's move, it will need no time for the 32-bit apps to exit the scene.
When all apps being released are all 64-bit, there will be a time that older Apple iPhone devices will only run outdated apps. Some apps might not be able to run at all. At the time of writing, the majority of 32-bit apps are still running perfectly, but these apps are likely to be affected by Apple's discontinued support for them.
Apple's warning only contains a message reminding users that the 32-bit app will hog the resources of their phones. But with the way Apple is moving in favor of 64-bit devices, there is a chance that later iOS updates will not come on 32-bit devices, MacWorld reported.
The only way to continue using the app is to buy a newer version of the app which comes with 64-bit. It is also possible that the discontinued support will be on iOS 11. News about the discontinuation of 32-bit support is expected to happen on Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference that will happen this summer.© 2019 Mstars News, All rights reserved.
