Kendrick Lamar's DAMN now occupies the top spot of Billboard 200 beating the record-breaking sales set by his rival Drake's More Life. Although this week, Lamar never failed to snatch away the crown from his co-hip hop artist.

Lamar's album defeated the playlist released by Drake with skyrocketing sales of 603,000 sold copies, streaming and downloads since April 14, Mail Online reported. It is the singer's third No. 1 album to hit the Billboard charts after last year's "Untitled Unmastered" and 2015's "To Pimp a Butterfly". It is released under Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope Records.

Meanwhile, Drake's "More Life" have launched 505,000 sales during the last week of March. He premiered it on his OVO Sound show on Beats 1.
