Fans are anticipating any news on the release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2, "Rickmancing the Stone." Creators have since confirmed a Summer return and reports have it that it could air late in June.

Fans are eager to know the release date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2, ever since Adult Swim dropped the premiere episode on April 1. While the show's official Twitter page announced a Summer release, the creators have remained mum on the exact airdate. Summer in the US is from June to August so "Rickmancing the Stone" could air in any of those months.

However, according to Blasting News, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 likely arrives late in June. The release date of "Rickmancing the Stone" could be on June 27, 2017. This comes earlier than the previous season, which arrived in July.

Regardless, the creators have yet to confirm if this report is true. Perhaps if a fan requests them to release "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 soon, then they might oblige. This is what happened with the premiere episode. According to The Independent, a fan simply asked Dan Harmon to air Episode 1 and he granted the request. Episode 1, titled "The Rickshank Redemption" aired on April Fool's Day.

In related news, there have been speculations on what "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 is about. "Rickmancing the Stone" is likely going to get some inspiration from the classic adventure movie "Romancing the Stone." The film follows the jungle adventure of a mercenary and a journalist who is in search of her sister. They use a treasure map that led them to a precious gem and their adventure also made them fall in love.

Perhaps, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 follows Rick and his grandson Morty on another intergalactic adventure that involves a treasure. Now that the scientist is out of prison, he can continue galavanting in space.
