AMD is working on Vega GPU. The product is set to join Computex. Unfortunately, the wait will be long because it will not hit the market right away after its attendance in the TaipeiInternational Information Technology Show.
A week ago, the Radeon Technologies Group at AMD had a Reddit Session where they offer to answer any question related to Radeon Vega Frontier Edition. One follower asks if the GPU will be revealed in Computex and as to when it will be launched.
"We'll be showing Radeon RX Vega off at Computex, but it won't be on store shelves that week," the group responded. "We know how eager you are to get your hands on Radeon RX Vega, and we're working extremely hard to bring you a graphics card that you'll be incredibly proud to own."
The developers admitted that creating a product with billions of transistors and forward-thinking architecture is extremely complicated. However, they do recognize that it is as rewarding. The process to deliver the best takes time and they won't rush to deliver what was expected from them. However, the developers guarantee that they are working hard to deliver Radeon RX Vega.
However, consumers should not worry because the wait for Radeon RX Vega is guaranteed. The developers are just taking their time to put up a technology that was limited to super expensive and out out-of-reach GPUs. AMD will also make sure that Radeon Vega will meet the level of demand once it is out in the market.
As for the Radeon RX Vega release date, Barentsnova reported that it will not be ready until later this year. So it is still possible that it will hit the market before 2018. We are still over six months away from welcoming the New Year, so chances are high that Radeon Vega will still arrive this year.
Computex will be held on May 30 to June 3. Catch AMD in the said event to learn more about the anticipated Radeon RX Vega.
