"Empire" Season 4 will present a new love triangle following the addition of Demi Moore's therapist character. Likewise, the installment will explore how Lucious' amnesia affects his and his family's life.
Executive producer Ilene Chaiken dished some spoilers for "Empire" Season 4 in an interview with Deadline. She talked about the addition of Moore's character and her importance to the story. Chaiken said that Moore, who plays Dr. Claudia, a rehabilitation therapist and psychologist, becomes a love triangle in Lucious and Cookie's relationship. "She's going to be in that triangular relationship with Lucious and Cookie, it's a whole new dynamic," she said.
Chaiken said that Dr. Claudia is going to present another problem in Lucious and Cookie's relationship. "It's not just another women who is a threat to the romantic relationship, it is somebody who has control over Lucious and importance to him in a way that nobody ever has and therefore threatens Cookie in a way that nobody ever has before," Chaiken added.

Her weird therapeutic methods (she had Lucious caress her cheek) already had Cookie suspicious of her. Chaiken said that Dr. Claudia's presence in Lucious' life rubs Cookie off the wrong way.
