Xiaomi has introduced its line up of laptop once again from Mi Notebook Air to Mi Notebook Pro. The Chinese electronic and Software Company initially started its smartphone market but have expanded to laptops, mobile apps, and consumer electronics.
After the successful release of Mi Notebook Air in China on 2016, this Chinese-only version of Microsoft Windows 10 was supported by a sim-card slot model of Mi Notebook Air 4G. These laptops give a full metal-feel in smaller 12 to 13 inch HD screens but with the coming of Mi Notebook Pro, the focus now is portability.
TNW reports how slim and handy the newly released Mi Notebook Pro that somehow resembles a MacBook Pro with half of its price. Its display of 15.6" and a body weight of 1.95kg of the magnesium alloy is considerably smaller and lighter compared to other laptops. An integrated Nvidia Geforce MX 150 has been incorporated into its 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass protection and a reliable cooling system that cools both the processor and the GPU.
In a report from GSMArena, Mi Notebook Pro provides 8th gen Intel Core processors - the base version has a Core i5 8250U (dual-core) up to Core i7 8550U (quad-core) all with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. For its specifications, Mi Notebook Pro is a lot more affordable at 6399 Chinese yuan ($980) however; for starters, it is for China market only like Mi Notebook Air. The bezel-less Mi Notebook Pro also has a full-size backlit keyboard spaced 19.5mm apart and has 1.5mm travel distance and a sizable touchpad below the keyboard hides a fingerprint reader.
Useable ports include two USB-C ports, two regular USB ports, a 3-in-1 card reader, and a full-sized HDMI port.
