Xiaomi is all set to bring a new variant of the already released Mi Max 2 phablet in India. The new variant features 32GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
Tech users can purchase this new variant of the Mi Max 2 through Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and mi.com. The new model will be available from Sep. 20, 2017. Notably, this year earlier in July the Chinese company Xiaomi released the original Mi Max 2 which features 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
There is no major difference between the new variant and the old version of the Mi Max 2. Apart from the new storage option, all other important specifications in the new variant remain the same. According to GSMArena, with the new internal storage option, the said phablet of Xiaomi now comes with three storage options, 128GB, 64GB, and 32GB. Interestingly, the 4GB RAM remains the same in each variant.
The Mi Max 2 is the successor of Xiaomi's Mi Max model, released in May 2016. Now, Xaiomi has brought some updates to the Mi Max 2 handset released this year. According to BGR, it has a huge battery of 5,300mAh, but the Mi Max model contains the 4,850mAh battery.
A single charge makes the Mi Max 2 handset more efficient, and people can use it for two days at a stretch. The phablet also features the dual power amplifier stereo speakers. Xiaomi has slashed the cost price of the new Mi Max 2 variant with 32GB internal storage. The previous model with 64GB storage that was released in July had the cost price of INR 16,999.
But, people can avail the new one with a lower cost price compared to the 64GB storage model. The new Mi Max 2 of Xiaomi has the cost price of INR 14,999 or $235. But, a statement on the official Twitter of Xiaomi revealed that people can grab it with the price tag of INR 12,999 or around $200.© 2019 Mstars News, All rights reserved.
