Tech enthusiasts in the US now can pre-order the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact smartphone on Amazon. The handset costs a handsome price of $599.99.
Sony unveiled its flagship handset, the Xperia XZ1 in the U.S. earlier this month. The model is now available in the U.S. for the consumers to purchase with a more compact variant, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. Customers who are eager to grab this smaller sibling of the Xperia XZ1 now can pre-order and have it on Oct. 4, 2017.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact model is available in four different colors - Blue, Twilight Pink, Black, and White Silver, according to The Android Soul. This flagship device was first announced at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. The handset's first pre-order started in the UK from Sept. 1, and the consumers got the phone on Sept. 26, 2017. Notably, the Xperia XZ1 Compact and the XZ1 android devices are the first to ship with the Android 8.0 Oreo obviously out of the box.
According to Phone Arena, both the smartphones feature the Android 8.0 Oreo, though none of them contains the important fingerprint scanner. The reason behind the unavailability of this spec is the legal issue with the wireless carrier, Verizon. Apart from this, an important fact is the new Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact model is cheaper than the already released Xperia XZ1. The Xperia XZ1 actually costs $700 in the U.S.
The new Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact with 4.6-inch display comes with factory unlocked like its previous version the Xperia XZ1. The said handset supports all the GSM carriers in the US, like T-Mobile, AT & T, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, and others. Now, both the Xperia XZ1 handsets are not compatible with the CDMA network operators, Verizon and Sprint.
Sony's new said flagship smartphone features Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM. The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has an internal storage of 32GB, though it is expandable with the microSD card. The phone contains a battery of 2,700 mAh. Its rear camera is 19MP, and the front selfie camera is 8MP.© 2017 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
