A recent confirmation reveals that "Fast and Furious 9" will land in theatres on April 10, 2020. The confirmation surfaced through the "Fast and Furious" official Instagram and Twitter accounts.
According to E! Online, in February 2016 Vin Diesel announced that the "Fast and Furious 9" would be released on April 19, 2019. Notably, the announcement also includes the release dates of Furious 8 and 9. Now it is quite clear that audiences could cherish the "Fast and Furious 9" one year later that is in 2020.
Interestingly, some franchise stars are already returning, though no clear view has so far surfaced about the return of another important star Dwayne Johnson. On the other hand, the tenth film of the said franchise is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021. It is not yet clear whether the said one will also be rescheduled like the "Fast and Furious 9" or not.
Apart from the release date of the "Fast and Furious 9", no new word related to the tenth film is surfaced so far. According to The Hollywood Reporter, earlier in 2017 the eighth film in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, "Fate of the Furious", boasted the biggest global launch. No doubt, the movie earned a huge amount worldwide, and the figure reached to $1.238 billion.
Now, it is not the first time when the movie franchise pushed back the release date of the upcoming "Fast and Furious 9". Previously, the release of the popular "Fast and Furious 7" was also delayed due to the death of the famous Hollywood actor, Paul Walker. Walker portrayed the character of Brian O'Conner in the said movie franchise.
The Hollywood actor breathed his last along with the driver Roger Rodas on Nov. 30, 2016, as a result of the car accident. At the time of his death, Walker was 40-year-old. An interesting fact is, in addition to scheduling the "Fast and Furious 9" release date, Van Diesel announced recently a "Fast and Furious" international tour. This live tour is set to begin in 2018.© 2018 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
