Two 'Fast and Furious' Cars Will Be Featured On Rocket League Video Game

These cars can run fast and furious but check them out on Rocket League as Brian O'Connor's 99 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and Dominic Toretto's 70 Dodge Charger R/T play soccer ball game this time. During a press release, game developer Psyonix announced that these movie famous cars will have a guest appearance in the vehicular soccer video game Rocket League. Rocket League can be played locally and online, including cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows versions, as well as cross-play between Xbox One, Switch, and Windows versions.

The '99 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 drove by Connor on the second installment of "Fast and Furious" in 2003 while Dominic Toretto prefers the '70 Dodge Charger R/T as his car of choice. In a report from Windows Central these two cars can be purchased as a separate DLC purchase of $2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC starting Oct 11 with new wheels and six swappable decals. Each of these cars will have distinct features as such the Skyline will have 2Bold, 2Cool, 2Tuff, Clean Cut, The Clutch, and Home Stretch decals, and the Charger will have Alameda Twin, Flames, Good Graces, Rally, Sinclair, and Wheelman decals.

The "Fast and Furious" cars will always be a fan favorite as well as an iconic figure for the blockbuster franchise, but of course, the actors themselves have played a big role in portraying these cool stuff and even races them up to skies. Catching the "Fast and Furious 8" fever, Digital Trends reports that Rocket League immediately made an add-on of the Dodge Ice Charger for $2 earlier this year. The Universal Brand Development in partnership with Psyonix promoted all three cars of "Fast and Furious", having the most guest appearances for Rocket League.

Famous movie cars were also featured on the Rocket League like the iconic DeLorean from "Back to the Future" and the Batmobile from the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", even two Hot Wheels cars guest appeared on the playing field. Nintendo Switch users get a holiday treat as the new "Fast & Furious" cars will also be available as DLC while users of the Switch can unlock both Mario and Luigi-themed cars and Samus Aran's famous gunship from Metroid.
