Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez has definitely sped her way to being one of the season regulars for "Agents of S.H.I.EL.D" and to seal the deal, Natalia Cordova-Buckley who plays the role of "Yo-Yo" will be joining her co-stars at the upcoming New York Comic-Con on Oct 7, Saturday. On the said event, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" lead stars like Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton and Chloe Bennet together with Marvel TV executive Jeph Loeb will be on a panel to discuss the upcoming season five and some never-before-seen footages for their audiences. Natalia Cordova-Buckley is a Mexican actress who has started acting in Spanish movies by 2008 but only in 2015 earned her first American role in "McFarland, USA."
Natalia Cordova-Buckley's biggest break was getting the role of Elena Rodriguez on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D", the hit ABC sci-fi drama series, therefore, Marvel Television's announced has paved way for her to have a bigger opportunity in the industry. In a report from Deadline the three executive producers of the show namely Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell was all praises and appreciation to Cordova-Buckley's dedication to work and her lifestyle to stay fit to make her fitting for the role of the Inhuman that has the ability to move so fast even in a single heartbeat. In addition, Natalia Cordova-Buckley was able to portray "Yo-Yo" and make it one of their most favorite characters in the series, as she also embodied a true member of S.H.I.E.L.D even on her first day.
The character, Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez first appeared in Season 3 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" with an episode titled "Bouncing Back", TVLine reports and continues on to Season four. The Mexican actress was even splendid in the six-episode Emmy nominated Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D": "Slingshot" digital miniseries that was released online in December 2016 where her role as "Yo-Yo" was the lead character. This has proven however that Natalia Cordova-Buckley deserves to stay more in the future episodes of the hit superhero drama.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" is on its eight-episode and will be replacing "Inhumans" on its new timeslot at 9 p.m. EST every Fridays.
