The fourth season of the critically acclaimed AMC series "The Walking Dead" is currently filming but fans have a nugget of information to look forward to before the Season 4 premiere.
In his most recent "Ask Ausiello" Column, TVLine's Michael Ausiello received a question from a reader named Sebastian, who asked for some news on the popular zombie show. Ausiello responded with the following:
"Next season's fourth episode is titled 'Indifference' and will introduce us to two new survivors, Jack and Erin. Both are in their 20s and described as easygoing and 'extremely thin.' Jack's a bit of a joker, while Erin walks through life with rose-colored glasses."
As MStars previously reported, AMC has already released a promotional photo for Season 4, which will premiere in October and contain 16 episodes.
The picture shows Rick Grimes (portrayed by Andrew Lincoln) in a forest looking towards the camera. He is decked out in a green shirt, black belt and dark pants with two holsters on his hips. He's also sporting the full beard and appears to have been sweating for quite a while.
Behind him stands an incredibly creepy zombie with impeccable fashion sense because it apparently took the time to pick up a snazzy gray suit jacket in which to stumble around the world. The rest of the undead creature is unkempt, as one would expect, as it is wearing tattered clothing and has that whole "zombie face," too.
MStars also reported that AMC Networks CEO Josh Sapan spoke at the Barclays Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference in May and said he hopes "The Walking Dead" continues until 2022.
