British pop singer Cheryl Cole turned 30-years-old Sunday, June 30th. Real name Cheryl Tweedy, she became a household name in 2002 after performing on the reality show "Popstars: The Rivals." Cole judged the British version of "The X Factor" before coming over and judging the American version. However, Cole hit hard times after divorcing her soccer player husband Ashley Cole and also getting fired from her judging duties on "X Factor." So what's next for the pop star?
Well, according to The Sun, Cole has a new boyfriend, new music possibly on the horizon, and a new life. Cole is reportedly dating choreographer Tre Holloway and according to a source the relationship is going well. "Cheryl is really happy with Tre," a source tells The Sun. "It took her a long time to trust another man and relax after what happened with Ashley...Her 20s were really tough and she doesn't want any more drama after the last marriage failed. She has put a bad experience behind her...Who knows about Tre? She is putting no pressure on him at all, but they are very close and make a great couple. He could be the one."
As for her time as a judge on "X Factor," it sounds like Cole wants to spend more time on her personal life. "She won't be back on The X Factor," a source tells The Sun. "She loves doing normal things she hasn't been able to do for so long, like cooking and being with her dogs. Her nieces and nephews get all her attention, ahead of pop wannabes."
As for Cole's music career, it sounds like big things could be ahead. Wll.i.am is reportedly helping Cole with her music. "Will.i.am is still helping her with her music and the next thing will be time in the studio," a source says to The Sun. "She wants to be a mum and keep her career bubbling along. Over the past year she has been feeling really optimistic about everything - she thinks this is going to be her decade."
So if you don't know who Cheryl Cole is yet on her 30th birthday, you may know who she is real soon.
