Sony is putting the "comic" into Comic-Con as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 later this month.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 panel will feature Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Jamie Foxx (Max Dillon/Electro), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), director Marc Webb and producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
Here is the description for the Spidey panel (from IGN):
"In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past."
Furthermore, Marvel will also present sequels Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Solider at the grand Hall H (which can fit a crowd of more than 6,000 people) during Comic-Con, so superheroes will be everywhere at this year's event.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is currently the only announced member of the panel for Thor and Captain America but the studio has promised "many special guests."
As Deadline points out, Marvel Studios first put together its Avengers team in a star-studded event at Hall H, so anything could happen this year during Comic-Con.
