Reports confirm that 39-year-old Kimberly Clark Kiernan hosted a wild underage party earlier this week at a Palm Beach Shores, Florida apartment while her seven-year-old son was locked away in a bathroom. After receiving several noise complaints from neighbors, authorities arrived at Kiernan's condo on Monday evening (July 1) and discovered over 26 intoxicated, belligerent minors partying with the irresponsible mom. Kiernan was eventually arrested and booked at the Palm Beach County jail - she was later released on $8,000 bail. Kiernan currently faces charges of making a false report, resisting an officer, cruelty toward a child, and 26 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to a Palm Beach Shores Police Department arrest report, cops arrived to the Lake Drive apartment complex late Monday night prepared to break-up a rowdy teen party. Instead, they found a 39-year-old woman, so intoxicated that she urinated on herself. Authorities also discovered a 16-year-old girl choking on her own vomit in the bathroom and a seven-year-old boy barricaded in another room. Beer and liquor bottles were scattered all over the condo floor.
The 16-year-old partier was rushed for treatment at St. Mary's Hospital - police promptly called the Department of Children & Families Emergency Hotline after kicking in another door to free the other very young child (Kiernan's own son).
Palm Beach Shores Police Lt. Steve Langevin told CBS 12 that he was very shocked at Kiernan's behavior. She's currently denying the charges brought against her and insists that she "doesn't drink."
"When you have alcohol and kids, nothing good comes from it," Langevin said. "They're looking for adults to make decisions and it's unfortunate that a woman would bring that many kids to her home. The adults are supposed to take care of the kids."
Right before 11 p.m. on Monday, Kiernan's neighbors reported a possible fight with a large group of adolescents outside. Once authorities arrived, Kiernan and her fellow partiers all locked themselves inside the apartment. One witness told cops that a child lived in the condo hosting the wild bash.
When two officers approached Kiernan's apartment, no one inside would corporate. About 20 minutes later, Keirnan finally walked out. She was rash, drunk, and angry - police claim that "she was immediately jerked backward when unknown male individuals hiding behind the door pulled her into the hallway and slammed the door shut." Someone then barricaded the door so forcefully that it cracked.
One officer went to call for backup while the group of teens (along with Kiernan) continued to "stand their ground against the police with force if police attempted to enter" (according to the report).
Two Riviera Beach police sergeants then arrived with a canine officer and five other patrol officers arrived. When they all headed back to the apartment, a "list of demands for police" was found slid under the door. It remains unclear what the demands exactly were.
After some more talking back-and-forth, the officers managed to free the door, which is when several teens came running out. Police ultimately gathered 26 minors, mostly between the ages of 14-17. Kiernan was hiding under a pile of clothes when police arrested her. That's also when the seven-year-old child was discovered locked in the bathroom.
Kiernan insists that she will fight all charges.© 2016 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
