This is certainly interesting. For her latest photo shoot with i-D magazine, Selena Gomez abandoned the glam of her stageshows and typical shoots for a look that seems like a supermodel run through an Adventures Of Pete & Pete filter, with a healthy side of Trainspotting.
The photo shows Gomez in a t-shirt and jeans, flanked by androgynous skinhead models in heavy sweaters. Her hair appears to be simply pushed back (as opposed to her typical too-big-for-her-head coif) and she tops the whole thing off with a rough trenchcoat.
"It's so easy to wear incredible, beautiful dresses and look super glamorous, because you have the power of Photoshop, but a shoot that's really stripped-down and raw is really fun to do. I was being rained on, it was freezing, I was covered in a giant sweater and my hair was all over the place. I got to just be in that moment and feel like I was there," Gomez said of the shoot.
Gomez also talked on her Stars Dance tour, saying that fans should expect her best show yet.
"It's been crazy," Selena said.. "I wanted it to be bigger and better than the last tour, so the stage and the presentation are gonna be really fun."
