Captain America's sidekick, Bucky Barnes, seemingly fell to his death in the first Captain America movie in 2011, but that obviously is not the case as the character returns to play the titular villain in next year's Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky/Winter Soldier in the movie, recently conducted an interview with Empire Online and told fans to freeze the rescue scene from Captain America: The First Avenger for a clue as to how Bucky survived the huge fall in the World War II era and lived to fight Cap in the present day.
Stan claims there is a set piece in that scene that is "so subtle" but occurs when Captain America rescues Bucky from Arnim Zola's experiments.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo also said during Empire Online's Comic-Con interviews that Captain America will be much more physical and aggressive in this film than he was in the first movie.
Anthony Mackie, who portrays the Falcon, revealed that Brock Rumlow, played by Frank Grillo, "gets the business from Captain America" during a fight scene. The two also said Captain America: The Winter Soldier is shaping up to be the best Marvel film yet.
