Somebody get Lana Del Rey a plug, stat! It seems as though the "Young & Beautiful" singer can simply not keep the leaks in.
In what seems like an occurrence every week or so, new and old songs from Del Rey have hit the Internet. This time, a trio of songs: "Playground," "Hot Hot Hot" and "I Was In A Bad Way" have found their way on to Soundcloud.
"Playground" is a winding, upbeat track likened to something out of a spy movie. Though not quite as poppy as "Behind Closed Doors," which hit the web earlier this week, "Playground" is a strong new song from the normally more subdued songstress.
The remaining two songs seem to be demo versions and alternate tracks of already released Lana Del Rey songs.
"Hot Hot Hot" features the same instrumentation as "Big Bad Wolf," a racing, sexy song that. While "Big Bad Wolf" features references to fairy tales and a guy that "rock rock rocks," "Hot Hot Hot" uses Del Rey's fascination with Los Angeles and men to boast that her man is "hot" times three and that she wants what he's got bad.
"Big Bad Wolf" doesn't have an official release yet, either. Though "Hot Hot Hot" sounds more polished than "Wolf" demos that leaked last year.
The final leaked Del Rey song "I Was In A Bad Way" shares the electronic beats of "Daddy Issues." However, "I Was In A Bad Way" has more shushed vocals, with the occasional soaring pleads of "I want you."
These three songs are in no means the only Lana Del Rey tracks to be leaked this summer.
Here are a few other songs that have hit the web without authorization:
