Jimmy Kimmel has done it again and this time it's on Kanye West's BBC rant. The rapper did a radio interview with BBC's Zane Lowe and discussed his frustrations with the industry and called himself the best celebrity in the world.
The 36-year-old rapper declared himself number 1 in the world of Rock, "We culture. Rap is the new rock 'n' roll. We the rock stars...We the new rock stars and I'm the biggest of all of them. I'm the Number 1 rock star on the planet."
The rapper even went as far as claiming his work and influences to be revolutionary comparing himself to the King of Pop "there would be no Kanye West if it wasn't for Michael Jackson."
Kimmel wasted no time and aired out the rapper's dirty laundry with the kid version of the interview called, "Kanye Kid Re-Kreation"
In the hour-long interview, the "All Falls Down" rapper went as far to comparing is struggle in the fashion and music world to the civil rights movement saying, "I've got to a point that Michael Jackson did not break down. I have reached the glass ceiling, as a creative person, as a celebrity...and I've been at it for 10 years," he told Lowe. "I look around and I say, 'Wait a minute. There's no one around here in that looks like me. And if they are, they're quiet as f--k.' So that means, wait a second -- now we're seriously like, in a civil rights movement."
The rapper and new father of North West, 3 (With Kim Kardashian added that he would give present and promote his fashions, but would get rejected and it's from no one trying to acknowledge his potential, "I shouldn't be limited to only one place of creativity," he lamented. "You guys don't understand -- I did the Air Yeezys and they eBay'd for $90,000...but I didn't get a call from Nike the next day."
He added: "We culture. Rap is the new rock 'n' roll. We the rock stars...We the new rock stars and I'm the biggest of all of them. I'm the No. 1 rock star on the planet."
