Two new snippets from songs off Miley Cyrus' upcoming album "Bangerz" have leaked online, just a little over a week before the record hits stores. A 31-second clip of "Adore You" and a very short, 6-second snippet of the Britney Spears featuring track "SMS (Bangerz)" both popped up on YouTube Sept. 28.
"Adore You" is a slow-tempo ballad, and featuring Cyrus wailing over a simplified string arrangement and a steady electronic drum. "When you say you love me, know I love you more / And when you say you need me, know I need you more," she sings, reflecting happier times in a relationship (unlike single "Wrecking Ball" or "Drive," which spring a leak earlier this week).
Meanwhile, the Britney Spears collaboration on "Bangerz" is indeed a true banger. Though the clip is microscopic, it's easy to tell that the song includes a strong dance beat mixed with urban influences. "Strutting my stuff," Cyrus sings before Spears come in. The two former Disney girls gone wild intertwine seamlessly.
The clips of "Adore You" and "SMS (Bangerz)" are not the first unofficial snippets from "Bangerz" that have hit the Internet. On Sept. 27, the Liam Hemsworth break up song "Drive" sprung a small leak. Additionally, cut "Bangerz" track "Last Goodbye" hit the web earlier this summer.
Miley Cyrus' fourth studio album "Bangerz" will officially hit stores on Oct. 8. However, fans who want an early listen should keep their eyes and ears online. Rumor has it the record is set to leak in full sometime soon.
