Love and Hip Hop New York has cut most of the original cast out and is introducing four new members to the hit reality show.
The show's creator, Mona Scott Young has a knack for choosing unique characters to spice up her reality shows and in the previews new cast members: Amina, Tara, K. Michelle, and Erica Jean.
K. Michelle departed from her own reality show "Love and Hip Hop ATL" because she wanted to separate herself from unwanted drama and move to New York to concentrate on her music career. The singer released her debut album, "Rebellious Soul" and was asked by Young to appear as a reoccurring member of the New York series because she was a popular figure on the ATL show.
Although, K. Michelle said that she wouldn't be placed in ridiculous situations (like shaking tables), she added that she would open more of her personal life to the public.
Unsure about what type of drama the new girls will bring on the hit VH1 show, there history of these mystery women has been revealed on the site's cast bio.
A self-made star, Amina Buddafly has been in the music business as a well-known songwriter/composer for more than 400 songs.
Tara Wallace, is the long-time girlfriend of rapper, Peter Gunz and has two children, Jamison (5) and Kaz (2) and currently works as a manager for a NYC hot-spot in the meatpacking district.
Erica Jean is an aspiring nurse who has a son with Rapper Saigon.
One of these three characters will eventually get into an epic slap fest. Singer Amina and Tara get into a heated confrontation about a man during a sit down and during the previews, Tara swings at her.
