Mega-girl group TLC sat down with New York City radio station, Power 105 "The Breakfast Club" and talked about their upcoming VH1 biopic Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story.

Members Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Tionne "T-Boz" took control of the VH1 movie to accurately tell each member's story, even Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes who died in a car accident in Honduras in 2002.

The girls talked about their 20 year journey in the music industry while going broke after selling millions of records, members getting kicked out of the group, and deep struggles each member went through before Lopes' death.

In an earlier interview with CNN the girls talked about working with rapper Lil' Mama who portrays Left Eye, actress Keke Palmer who plays Chilli, and Drew Sidora who is T-Boz and how they guided them though each scene, "We basically took them under our wings and we shared a lot of stories with them," Chilli told CNN. "We spent a lot of time with them, and they were very observant when it came to looking at how Tionne and I interact with each other, the chemistry that we naturally have."

Chilli added, "We spent more time with Lil' Mama, since Lisa was not here. So we really had to spend more time with her. She looked at a lot of video footage. She did a lot of research."

The girls told The Breakfast Club about their falling out with former manager, Perri 'Peebles' Reid, after she allegedly swindled their earnings, forcing them to later file for bankruptcy. T-Boz told the morning show that Peebles did not see the movie; however she could sue them for defamation, adding "She's ready to sue. T-Boz explained, "She said if she sees one thing she doesn't like."
