As part of a special collaboration with filmmaker Spike Lee, former heavyweight championship boxer Mike Tyson performed a special one-man stand-up special that will premiere next month on HBO. Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth is an in-depth, personal look into the life of Tyson, who was once on top of the world as a champion boxer but has since stayed in the spotlight for many controversial reason. This week we get our first look at the special with a new trailer.

Here is the official synopsis for the November 16 HBO special:

Raw, honest, powerful and full of humor, the stage production of "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth" features "Iron Mike" recounting his life's highs and lows in his signature candid style. He opens up about his troubled youth, landmark boxing career, key people in his life, controversies, time in prison, self-examination, family and new beginnings. Tyson recently wrapped up a 10-week U.S. tour of "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth," which debuted in Las Vegas in spring 2012 and ran on Broadway last summer, with Lee directing.

This "Spike Lee Joint" definitely took some time to make. The boxer and the filmmaker wanted desperately to work on something together and finally came up with this one-man show idea. Luckily for us we get to take part in this event on HBO.
