Last week's episode of Cinemax's Banshee saw the murder of Lana Cleary and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman get solved, but it definitely didn't feel like too much closure. Though we saw some justice served by the hands of Proctor and Nola against the culprit Jonah, Sheriff Hood still has a lot to deal with. Let's take a look at some sneak-peek photos and video clips from tonight's episode entitled "The Truth About Unicorns." (SPOILERS to follow)

As you can tell from the above picture and the clip below, Carrie is finally released from jail. Last episode we saw her dark dreams of what it would be like to get out, so having it actually happen must be nerve wracking for her. But at the same time, there is obviously a sense of relief.

Of course Lucas picks her up because the poor guy is still holding on to the past. Now that she knows Rabbit is still alive, will she go back to her old ways and take down her father? How will Lucas help this time?

Clearly these two have a lot to work out. As viewers, we know their past, but they've been avoiding a real conversation about it. Well, as we can see from the clips below, they talk about it and the result might not be what Lucas wants!

So it looks like we might have an episode dealing with the past as our mid-season climax. A lot happened in the first two episodes, but a lot was also ignored. This might be the chance for Lucas and Carrie to really hash out the past, even if the results are dire.

But what about Jason Hood and the rest of the drama building up? I guess we'll have to see tonight on "The Truth About Unicorns."
