Naya Rivera

1 of 6

Actress Naya Rivera has a slight wave with her hair pulled away from her face with three french braids to add a touch of flare.

To achieve this hairstyle, prep your hair with a texturizing spray or pomade to damp hair. Dry your hair and then divide your hair on top of your head into three sections. French braid these sections until they reach the crown of your head. Loosely straighten your remaining hair while flipping the ends.

Emmy Rossum

Emmy Rossum follows a cardinal rule of hot weather: Utilize your hair's natural texture.

Begin by lightly straightening your hair. Volumize your hair by teasing the top layer of hair. Pull this section of hair back and secure with an elastic or clip. To give your hair an added shine for the Summer sun, apply a mist of shine spray.

Hunter King

Actress Hunter King rocks a messy bun with loose curls. You can get this look easily by giving your hair small curls. Use a texturizing spray and a volumizing mousse on damp hair if you have products available. This prep work will help secure your curls. When your hair is dry, begin curling one-inch sections of your hair with a one-inch curling iron.

Pull aside two curls (one from each side of your face). Carefully placing your remaining hair into a bun on the top of your head. Warning: Don't bring the bun too high. You're going to want to avoid the "I just rolled out of bed look" with this messy style.

Once you've achieved the desired look and secured your hair into place, spray your hair generously with hairspray. This is necessary if you're facing humid weather and especially if your hair is not naturally curly.

To copy this look, pull the front of your hair into sections and tease to create volume. Then, bring your hair into a half-pony away from your face. Secure your hair with an elastic hair-tie.

Begin to curl your loose hair by dividing it into one-inch sections and curl these sections using a two-inch curling iron. Secure your curls by spraying with hairspray. Lastly, curl the hair in the half-pony same fashion.

Niki McElroy

Actress Niki McElroy styled her hair with two bumps to add volume and loose curls.

Begin this look by creating your two hair bumps. Divide your hair in a side part and grab one section from each side. Tease the under-layer of hair, twist your hair back, and secure with a hair pin. Follow this process with the remaining side.

Next, divide your hair into one-inch sections and curl with a one-and-a-half-inch curling iron. This will bring your curls that are not-too-tight and not-too-loose. Finish with a sweep of hairspray, especially if your hair is not naturally curly.

Vanessa Kirby

Vanessa Kirby dons beachy waves with her hair pulled from her face.

This look begins in the prep-work. If you have a surfer hair putty or a salt-water based product, use it. When your hair dries, part your hair to the side. Use a two-inch curling iron on the entire thing and gently brush the curls loose. Finally, bring the top layer of hair back with tension around your brow's height. Secure with a clip or hair pins.
