The headlines are roaring once again as reports have scoured the internet that Mary-Kate Olsen and her much older boyfriend, Olivier Sarkozy are married. However, Gossip Cop confirms that this is NOT the case.
A source close to Olsen reveals to Gossip Cop that those reports aren't correct. "It's not true. They are not married."
The rumors sparked last week as the Olsen twin and her beau were photographed lunching in the Hamptons, both wearing what appeared to be matching gold wedding bands.
The 28-year-old Full House actress turned-fashion-designer began dating Sarkozy, 45, in May 2012. The couple was became engaged on March 2014.
Sarkozy is the half-brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, the former president of France. Olsen's fella is also the managing director of the Carlyle Group's global financial services division.
Not too shabby for Ms. Olsen.
In 2010 the much younger Olsen discussed her 16-year age difference with Sarkozy and what she does to stay positive among all the animosity. "Everyone has an opinion," Mary-Kate said. "I find it's better to focus on what's in front of you and to keep putting one foot in front of the other," she told WSJ magazine.
Sarkozy has previously been married. His ex was also in fashion like her much younger replacement. In 1997 he married Charlotte Bernard, a freelance fashion writer and author of children's books. She grew up in Paris, where the couple had a wedding ceremony. In 2010 Charlotte filed for divorce and asked for her pre-nuptial agreement to be set aside.© 2019 Mstars News, All rights reserved.
