Halle Berry, Sarah Palin 'Distantly Related': 'Clouds Atlas' Star Covers InStyle Magazine [Video] [Photos]

In an interview with Extra with Tom Hanks to promote their new film "Cloud Atlas," the actress revealed that she had a very big genealogy secret. During the interview, the actress asked the interviewer if he knew who she was related to. Guessing the actress wasn't too proud of the relation and the actress pulled her face and said, "Sarah Palin." The former Bonds girls added, "In some twisted way (we are related)... somebody sent me this information that she was my distant (relative)."

Her co-star was just as surprised to find out the odd news and pointed out the correlation between her shocking news to the film. The film is about Berry's similar situation, which is about how people impacting each other in the present and future.

Hanks who is said to be related to Abraham Lincoln's mother Nancy Hanks added, "This is the Cloud Atlas continuum, without a doubt. I'm telling you the connections that go through! It doesn't matter who, what race, where, what time."

Berry will grace the cover of the InStyle magazine's November issue where she dishes about her age, her fiancé Olivier Martinez, and her biggest regrets. She is currently engaged to Oliver Martinez and gushed about what makes him different from other guys.

The actress said, "I'm a hopeless romantic, and I won't stop till I get it right! [Olivier's] silly, a clown, and very much the life of the party, which is good for someone, like me. Danny Downer...been there, done that. Now I like Louie Lightfoot!"

Ms. Berry still has it!
