Two weeks after filing for divorce, Frankel is staying with Lichtenstein on the Upper East Side of New York. The "Real Housewives of New York" star insists that the two are strictly just friends. The Reality Tea reports Lichtenstein is a well known businessman in New York who runs a hedge fund Steel Partners and is the Chairman and CEO of Steel Partners Holdings L.P (NYSE: SPLP). The NYSE -traded holding company makes $400 million that owns and operates businesses and has significant interests in leading companies in many industries. The various industries include products in energy, defense, banking, food products and services, oilfield services, sports, training, education, and the entertainment and lifestyle industries.
Remaining close with friends with large sums of money the celebrity may also be linking up with Lichtenstein's top attorney friends to defend her $100 million empire. According to RadarOnline sources, "Bethenny's biggest concern is the financial hit her empire could take because of the fallout from her divorce," the source added, "Bethenny had hoped that the divorce would be amicable, but Jason isn't going to just stand by and let her have primary custody of their daughter, Bryn. The couple did have an iron-clad prenup, and Jason could make a bid to have it thrown out. Bethenny's talk show is scheduled to premiere this fall, but producers of the show are carefully watching how the divorce plays out."
