We simply can't get enough of Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic robot killing machine from the Terminator franchise. After starring in the 2015 summer blockbuster Terminator: Genisys, the former Governor of California has proven to fans that he's still game for the character, but when will he reprise the role again? Well, thanks to video game technology, his two famous Terminator T-800 roles, from 1984's Terminator and the sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day, are now playable characters in the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game! You can check out the gameplay teaser trailer for this DLC below.
"Who else could combine the universes of Hollywood, the Terminator, WWE, bodybuilding, and now video games? Arnold Schwarzenegger has arrived in WWE 2K16! The Terminator DLC announcement comes quickly off the heels of recent reports claiming the WWE 2K gaming franchise started wiping Hulk Hogan from the games (via Forbes). This is surely a precaution taken after he was fired from the wrestling company due to racist remarks he made on tape a number of years ago.
"We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly," developers at 2K said in a statement. "We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16."
WWE 2K16 hits shelves on Oct. 27, 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in North America, according to IGN.© 2019 Mstars News, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
